Missed the Cadillac Ranch! We were 50 miles past the Cadillac Ranch when we realized we blew by it!
Midpoint Cafe, Adrian TX. Claimed to be at the halfway point between Chicago and California! The Historic Route 66 Highway had a huge white line with a sign claiming it was 1,139 miles west to California AND 1,139 miles East to Chicago!! The exit road at the Leaning Tower of Texas had a large dirt apron where we parked to take photos. The road was paved.
