Team 70’s USA Four Corners is History!

Gary and I rode South from Madawaska all the way down through Maine to Manchester New Hampshire. We stayed at the same Super Eight that we were at three days ago.

My Honda CB 500 needed an oil change and I was experiencing gearshift clunking in 1st and 2nd gears. Gary found Nautt’s Powersports a couple miles away from the hotel. I rode over at 8AM to be the first at the service door.

Lonely Honda CB500XA at service door.

This was the local Honda and Suzuki dealer. I explained I need an oil change and that I had some stiffness in my gear shifting and there was clunking sounds!

The service manager’s analysis was my shift linkage was too loose. I was there about 3 hours. When we ride away in light rain, the little Honda shifted like grease lightning! No more clunking noises!

We rode casual to Scranton PA. Found a Japanese food shop and had Bento boxed.

Because of shop error we ended up with double order of tempura!

I’m drooling! I thought that was a lot of food for the two of you, but extra tempura? YUM!!! It all looks delicious!

What a great service experience at Honda! Here in Orange our Honda dealer would have had your bike for three weeks to get the same service done! That looks like some amazing tempura, good riding food! Safe and dry travels today.
