Blaine WA Corner #1 Done

June 25, Day 1

US/Canadian Peace Arch – Team 60’s & Team 70’s on the US side. No one was at the site. Neat place. Inside the highly secure arch there’s a sign that says “These gates shall never close.”
Blaine WA Peace Arch … done! Gary poses the required photo … flag #014, motorcycle and local landmark.
As we depart Gary is stopped and as he starts moving in a tight turn he loses his balance and over he goes! Rick and I have him back on 2-wheels in seconds.
We were looking to see if we can get a photo of our flag & motorcycle in front of the Peace Arch but that is physically impossible. The next best option is the Peace Arch State Park entry sign.
Besides the photo we also need a computer printed gas receipt with the date time and location must be in the city of that corner so this receipt has Blaine WA.

The final proof of being at the corner is the mileage of your motorcycle at that specific location and this is documented on a form with name, location, OD mileage and date.

Congrats! You’ve obviously mastered the picture posting. Gotta love the contradiction at the border
Now that you’ve gone all the way to the border, you get to go back right where you came from, lol. Safe journey!
