Always a little nerve racking getting ready for a trip like this. You never know what weather you will hit. We are spoiled here in SoCal and think it is usually sunny, dry and warm. Outside of our bubble the world changes so you need to pack for rain and cold, even though it’s summer and some tools. And there is only so much room…
Since it’s hot right now in CA, Rick and I are planning to head to highway 395 to Mammoth Lakes and try to stay at elevation in the High Sierras in the Sierra Nevada mountain range heading north to Seattle. But we have approximately 300 miles of heat first.
Another rainy night in Georgia. Tropical storm and rain here in GA. Hot, humid and wet. Don’t forget rain gear.
We’ve had cool, dry summer until today.
Safe travels.
Safe travels! I’ll be rolling along with you.
Mammoth Lakes! A beautiful place! Take time to smell the pine trees too! Who’s towing the trailer?
